Bettina Simon made her singing debut at the Tonhalle Zurich. In Milan, she sang the role of Roberto in the opera “Griselda” by A. Vivaldi and debuted as Bersabea in N. Porpora’s oratorio “David e Bersabea” at the Vienna Konzerthaus. She is currently completing her artistic doctorate studies in Thessaloniki, having previously studied recorder and baroque oboe in Vienna, Basel and Salzburg. Since 2022 Bettina Simon teaches baroque oboe at the Cologne University of Music and is the co-founder of the baroque orchestra “nuovo barocco”.
