In addition to his theatre engagements at the Münchner Kammerspiele, the Schauspiel Frankfurt and the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel, Stefan Wilkening can be heard in numerous documentaries, radio and audio book productions as well as in various film and television productions. He also performs as a reciter with various live programs, even with renowned orchestras. At the Mozartwoche in Salzburg, Stefan Wilkening played the acting director in Mozart’s opera of the same name. He also performed it in Mozart’s house and read letters from Mozart to his father selected by Rolando Villazón. His special way of narrating is always a spirited “theater event” and his motto is: “Everything is a play”
