Israeli mezzo-soprano Katya Semenisty has performed as a soloist with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta Beer Sheva, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and the Symphonette Ra’anana. She won first prize at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance competition and is a scholarship holder of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation. She is currently studying atBayerischen Theaterakademie August Everding. Her opera repertoire includes roles such as Dorabella in Così fan tutte and Cherubino and Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro.
