Kai Kluge began his musical training with the Aurelius Boys’ Choir in Calw. Already during his studies he was engaged in the opera studio of the Staatstheater Karlsruhe. For the 2016/17 season he came to the Opernstudio Stuttgart, where he has been a permanent member of the ensemble since 2017/18. He achieved great success in important roles such as Tamino /”Magic Flute”, Ottavio/”Don Giovanni”, Alfredo/”La Traviata”, most recently Nemorino/”Elisir d’Amore”. Guest engagements have taken him to the opera houses in Bonn, Kiel, Bremen, Karlsruhe, Basel, Wiesbaden and Dresden.He already sang in the Liederhalle Stuttgart, the Meistersingerhalle in Nuremberg and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
