The mezzo-soprano Julia Pfänder, born in Augsburg, is currently studying at the Munich University of Music and Theater in the class of Prof. Daniela Sindram and Sabine Lahm.
In opera productions at the University of Music, Julia Pfander has already sung the roles of Erda and Fricka in “Das Rheingold”, the Countess in “Der Wildschütz”, Marcellina in “Le nozze di Figaro” and Emily in Philip Venables “4.48 Psychosis”. In 2022 she was heard at the Brecht Festival Augsburg as the mother in the cantata of the same name by Hanns Eissler.
