Chamber Choir KlangVerwaltung

The KlangVerwaltung Chamber Choir was founded by Enoch zu Guttenberg in the year 2000 and consists of professional, experienced young singers coming from choirs like the Munich Philharmonic Choir, the Bavarian Radio Chorus (“Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks”), the Collegium Vocale Gent and other renowned vocal ensembles. It thus represents an adequate vocal counterpart to the highly virtuoso KlangVerwaltung Orchestra, together with which it studies and performs works for choir and orchestra in an exemplary and authentic manner.

Right from the start at the Bach Festival on Herrenchiemsee Island in 2000, the new ensemble met the high expectations placed on it and received great praise from the press. Since 2001 the choir has been performing regularly under Enoch zu Guttenberg at the Herrenchiemsee Festival. The series of highly acclaimed performances includes the “Mass in E minor” by Anton Bruckner, “Fest- und Gedenksprüche” by Johannes Brahms, the “Choral Fantasy” by Ludwig van Beethoven as well as the “Mass in B minor” and the “6 Motets” by Johann Sebastian Bach.

With Bach's St Matthew Passion, the ensemble first got excited in Madrid in 2018, and elicited almost euphoric reactions from the audience and the press at the Moscow concert in The Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
